Do This To Boost Your Productivity

A couple of months ago, I found myself feeling overwhelmed of the number of things I needed to do to manage my business. A lot of challenges had come up along the way, so I was busy solving those temporary hiccups instead of focusing on my bigger picture. 

So, as the situation worsened, I decided to shut down everything and put my mind right again because I was feeling pressured and was not getting anything done. I woke up the following day at six in the morning, wore my warmest clothes, sat in my balcony, closed my eyes, cleared my thoughts and focused on my breathing. I meditated for 20 minutes. 

Meditation helps bring your focus back and, therefore, boosts your productivity. And I say this from experience. Ever since I began meditating daily, every morning, I am able to set myself up to think better, make better decisions and make the most out of my time. Not to mention, it feels great to be able to shut your brain off for a moment. Meditating is also said to help you remember better and increases your creativity too. I'm all for it. 

Challenges will come. Hurdles will come. But about 90% really depends on how you organize and manage yourself to deal with them.
